Join us once again for our Network-wide podcast, pulling content and audio from Games Are Evil and The Portable Gamer to bring you the best of the week. Fresh of turning sixteen last week, Ewan once again returns with some company. In the first ever DoubleJump “across the pond”, Blake Grundman, of  EvilCast fame, and Ewan hit up some of the biggest game releases of 2009…

On this week’s show:

  • We discuss EA’s ever expanding portfolio of AAA Games.
  • We try to figure out what has made FIFA 10 a global phenomenon.
  • We relive Sony’s third attempt to revive the PSP, with the release of the PSP Go and numerous first party games.

We want your hate mail. Please feel free to tell us what you think of the show. Email us at ewan at gamesareevil.com and we will try not to cry at your harsh words.

A super big show this week as we welcome both your hostile criticism of our Left 4 Dead 2 review and Cheap Ass Gamer founder CheapyD for an exhaustive discussion of Black Friday deals.

There’s also still a ton to say about Assassin’s Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. And thanks to resident photochop champ Alan Black who, we’re told, sparkles in the daylight.

EvilCast

Last week turned out to be home to the biggest game launch in the history of the entire industry.  It was nearly impossible to turn a corner without coming in contact with something tied to Modern Warfare 2, but Ross and Blake ventured out in search of the endangered species, a news item that was not tied to MW2.  We were left with OnLive going mobile, Microsoft has been kicking ass and taking gamertags and early talk of GTA V, along with Ross’s Top 10 Selling franchises of all time.  So shut your mouth and open your ears, because the EvilCast Recap is ready to BLOW YOUR MIND!

Links to Topics Discussed:

1. Even Modern Warfare 2’s sales life up to the hype!

2. OnLive coming to a pocket near you.

3. Microsoft speaks softly, but carries a big banhammer

4. Is Rockstar already teasing Grand Theft Auto V?

Open To The Public:

  • When are you planning to buy your copy of Modern Warfare 2?

The Evil Cast:

  • The gaming news Megazord: Ross Polly and Blake Grundman
