Rapala Pro Fishing is a decent game. The fish are realistic, and so are the lures, but the fish are either ridiculously easy to catch, or almost imposssible. I have been trying to catch a 50-pound King Salmon for 2 months and have not been able to. Also Rainbow Trout are very hard.
And Catfish? Where? And I cannot believe there are no Northern Pike anywhere except the Danube Delta. Sheesh!
If I could, I would give this game a 3 1/2. Just OK.

This game is a blast for those of us that cannot afford a real boat. The kids thought it was really cool to be able to see the fish actually take the hook and if they are not quite old enough to get the whole jerk to pole and reel thing like my youngest he has a blast just driving the boat around and hitting stuff. Typical boy. 5 stars

It takes a while for you to figure everything out but once that's done the kids loved it!

A fantastic game - the best on the market so far. I've tried four others and they don't come anywhere near Rapala's Pro Fishing. The fish look super real, they thrash and fight beneath the water and break the line much like you find when you are fishing in real life. You become familiar with lures, line and fishing rods and the kind best suited for catching certain types of fish. The lakes and rivers are beautiful and easy to maneuver in the boat. The guide has a dry sense of humor which is part of the fun of this game. I understand Rapala has a new game out for playstation3 and I can only imagine how great that game will be. This game has given my fiance and I hours of pleasure.

I love to fish but my dad is never around to take me. This game lets me go fishing right in my house. I like the tornements and the fish and lures come in a wide variety and you can play as different characters. At first casting is a little hard at first so you can't catch any thing but once you get the hang of it you can cast over 60ft! This game is great. And DO NOT buy Reel Fishing III because that game is horrible!
